Install Kaspersky Endpoint Security
Important: Kaspersky Lab experts recommend installing Kaspersky Endpoint Security only as described in this guide.
You can install Kaspersky Endpoint Security in one of the following ways:
- Locally, from the distribution kit downloaded from the Kaspersky Lab website.
- Remotely via Kaspersky Security Center.
Perform a standard installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security
- Unpack the ZIP archive from the distribution kit.
- Open the .dmg file from the contents of the unpacked archive.
- In the window that opens, double-click Install Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
The Kaspersky Endpoint Security installer opens.
- Click the Continue button.
The End User License Agreement window opens.
- In the End User License Agreement window, carefully read the End User License Agreement and do one of the following:
- If you don't accept the terms of the End User License Agreement, click the Decline button and confirm that you want to quit the Kaspersky Endpoint Security installer.
Installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security is canceled.
- If you accept the terms of the End User License Agreement, click the Accept button.
Installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security continues and the Participation in Kaspersky Security Network window opens.
- If you don't accept the terms of the End User License Agreement, click the Decline button and confirm that you want to quit the Kaspersky Endpoint Security installer.
- In the Participation in Kaspersky Security Network window, carefully read the Kaspersky Security Network Statement and do one of the following:
- If you don't accept the terms of participation in Kaspersky Security Network, click the Decline and Install button and continue the installation.
- If you accept all the terms of participation in Kaspersky Security Network, click the Accept and Install button and continue the installation.
When you participate in
Kaspersky Security Network, Kaspersky Endpoint Security statistics are automatically sent to Kaspersky Lab to enhance protection of your Mac.An infrastructure of services that provides access to a database with constantly updated information about the reputation of files, web resources, and software. Kaspersky Security Network ensures faster responses by Kaspersky Lab applications to threats, improves the performance of some protection components, and reduces the likelihood of false positives.
Note: Kaspersky Lab doesn't collect, process, or store any personal data. You can join or opt out of participation in Kaspersky Security Network at any time.
- In the prompt for administrator credentials, enter an administrator name and password and confirm that you want to install Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
The installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security continues.
- When the installation is finished, click the Finish button to quit the installer.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security starts automatically. You don't have to restart your computer.
Perform a custom installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security
- Unpack the ZIP archive from the distribution kit.
- Open the .dmg file from the contents of the unpacked archive.
- In the window that opens, double-click Install Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
The Kaspersky Endpoint Security installer opens.
- Click the Customize button.
The Choose components to install window opens.
- In the Choose components to install window, deselect checkboxes next to components that you don't want to install and click the Continue button.
The End User License Agreement window opens.
- In the End User License Agreement window, carefully read the End User License Agreement and do one of the following:
- If you don't accept the terms of the End User License Agreement, click the Decline button and confirm that you want to quit the Kaspersky Endpoint Security installer.
Installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security is canceled.
- If you accept the terms of the End User License Agreement, click the Accept button.
Installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security continues and the Participation in Kaspersky Security Network window opens.
- If you don't accept the terms of the End User License Agreement, click the Decline button and confirm that you want to quit the Kaspersky Endpoint Security installer.
- In the Participation in Kaspersky Security Network window, carefully read the Kaspersky Security Network Statement and do one of the following:
