Set up autolock
For security reasons, Kaspersky Password Manager automatically blocks access to the vault after a specified period of inactivity. By default, the vault is locked automatically after your device has been idle for 1 minute. You can access your data only when the vault is unlocked.
Set up autolock
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.
If your device is running Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication, and has fingerprint authentication enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the main password.
- In the main app window, tap
or swipe the screen to the right.The quick access bar appears on the left.
- On the quick access bar, tap Settings > Autolock vault and choose how long Kaspersky Password Manager waits before locking the vault.

Clear Clipboard data
For security reasons, Kaspersky Password Manager removes data copied to the clipboard after a specified period, so your sensitive information stays protected and can't be stolen. By default, the clipboard is cleared after 30 seconds.

If your device is running Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication, and has fingerprint authentication enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the main password.
- In the main app window, tap

- On the quick access bar, tap Settings > Clear clipboard.
- In the window that opens choose how long Kaspersky Password Manager waits before removing the data copied to the clipboard.
- Tap Save.

Use fingerprint authentication
If your device is running Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication, and has fingerprint authentication enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the main password.
If a device running the Android operating system has modified firmware, using fingerprint authentication with Kaspersky Password Manager can be unsafe. The fingerprint authentication feature is disabled in Kaspersky Password Manager on certain devices. Kaspersky specialists consider that fingerprint access to the app might be unsafe on those devices.
Use fingerprint authentication
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.
- In the main app window, tap
or swipe the screen to the right.The quick access bar appears on the left.
- On the quick access bar, tap Settings.
- Turn on Fingerprint.
Now you can unlock the vault using any fingerprint stored on your device.

Enable and disable notifications
You can receive notifications about new features and useful updates in Kaspersky Password Manager.
Enable notifications
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.

- If you postponed or revoked your acceptance of the terms of the Statement Regarding Data Processing for Marketing Purposes, in the alert that appears tap Read to review the terms of the statement and then tap Accept.

Change the main password
For security reasons, we recommend that you change your main password on a regular basis. If you suspect that your main password has been compromised, change it immediately.
Change your main password
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.
If your device is running Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication, and has fingerprint authentication enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the main password.
- In the main app window, tap

- Enter a new main password.
- Confirm your new main password.
For security reasons Kaspersky Password Manager hides data you enter and replaces it with dots. To view data, tap

- Tap Continue.
After sync, the main password will be changed on all your devices.

Sign in to and sign out of My Kaspersky
To sync your data across devices, buy the subscription and manage your vault online, you need to connect to
by using a
. If you have used another Kaspersky application, for example, Kaspersky Password Manager for another device or Kaspersky Security Cloud, you probably have a My Kaspersky account. Use it to sign in. If you don't have an account, create one.
As soon as you connect your device to My Kaspersky, data starts syncing across your devices that have Kaspersky Password Manager installed and are linked to the same My Kaspersky account.
If you connect to a My Kaspersky account that already has a cloud storage, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to merge data or replace data in the cloud storage with data from the device.
Sign in to My Kaspersky
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.
If your device is running Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication, and has fingerprint authentication enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the main password.
- In the main app window, tap
or swipe the screen to the right.The quick access bar appears on the left.
- Do one of the following:
- On the quick access bar, tap Sign in.
- On the quick access bar, tap Settings > Sign in to My Kaspersky.
- Enter your credentials and tap Sign in.
If another Kaspersky app on your device is connected to My Kaspersky, Kaspersky Password Manager may prompt you to sign in to My Kaspersky by using the same account.
By tapping Sign in, you confirm that you have fully read, understand, and accept the terms of the Statement Regarding Data Processing for Purpose of Using Web-Portal (Web-Portal Statement). If you want to revoke your acceptance of the Web-Portal Statement, you need to sign out of My Kaspersky, uninstall the app, or disconnect your device from My Kaspersky.
If you enter the password incorrectly several times in a short period, you will need to enter characters from a picture to pass the security check.
If you have enabled two-step verification for your My Kaspersky account, you will need to enter a code received via an SMS message or generated in an authenticator app.
Kaspersky Password Manager signs you in to My Kaspersky.
If you want to connect to another My Kaspersky account, you need to sign out of My Kaspersky and sign in again with another account.
Before signing out, make sure that all of your data is synced to the cloud storage. When you sign out, Kaspersky Password Manager deletes all of your current data from the device. Without connecting the app to My Kaspersky, you can't use the subscription, sync data across devices, or access your data online.

- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.

- In the main app window, tap

- On the quick access bar, tap Settings > Sign out.
- Confirm that you want to sign out of My Kaspersky.
Sign out of My Kaspersky on My Kaspersky
- Go to the Devices section of My Kaspersky.
- On the panel of the device, on which you want sign out of your My Kaspersky account, select Kaspersky Password Manager.
- Expand the application panel and click Disconnect application in the lower part of the application panel.
The confirmation dialog opens.
- Confirm the operation.
The app is disconnected from My Kaspersky.
