Main application window
The main application window displays the current account settings. Both parents and children can interact with the main application window.
By default, the main application window displays today's time limits on computer use. By clicking More Info, you can view the current Kaspersky Safe Kids settings for the child and manage the application.
The main application window lets you do the following:
- Check today's time limits on computer use.
- Request more computer time when time is running out.
- View current account settings.
- Pause Kaspersky Safe Kids.
- Edit the computer accounts specified for the children.
- Go to My Kaspersky to change settings.
- Go to the App Store or another online store to download Kaspersky Safe Kids for your mobile devices.
Note: Kaspersky Safe Kids requires My Kaspersky credentials to pause the application, edit your children's computer accounts, and change settings on My Kaspersky.
Page topNotifications
Kaspersky Safe Kids displays notifications in the upper-right part of the screen to inform you or your children of events that require attention (for example, a notification about the remaining computer time appears when your children log in to their computer accounts). Notifications may also appear in Notification Center.
Kaspersky Safe Kids doesn't have permission to display notifications by default.
Allow notifications from Kaspersky Safe Kids
- In the top-left corner of your screen, choose Apple menu > System Settings.
- Click Notifications.
- In the list to the left, click Kaspersky Safe Kids and turn on Allow Notifications from Kaspersky Safe Kids.
