Importing dashboards

To import a dashboard:

1. In the Resources section, go to the List tab.

   This opens a window with a list of all resources available to you in KUMA.

   If necessary, you can configure the display of resources on existing dashboards by selecting Dashboard in the Resource kind column.

2. Use the check box to select the dashboard to be imported.
3. Click the Import button above the table of resources.
4. In the sidebar, in the Tenant drop-down list, select the tenant to which you want to import the dashboard.
5. Select the import source: File or Repository.
6. Depending on the selected import source, follow these steps:
   1. If you selected File as the import source, follow these steps:
      • Specify the password for the imported file.
      • Click the Select file button to select the file that you want to import.
      • Select the check boxes of the resources that you want to import.
   2. If you selected Repository as the import source, select one or more repository packages in the displayed table.
7. Click the Import button.
8. If necessary, resolve conflicts between the resources imported from the file and the existing resources.

Consider the following when importing dashboards:

• When a dashboard is imported into the Shared tenant, the dashboard becomes universal.
• To import a dashboard into the Shared tenant, you need the rights to manage shared resources.
• If the dashboard is imported into the Shared tenant, all storages are automatically specified in the dashboard because access to these is governed by user settings.
• If a dashboard is imported into any tenant other than Shared, the tenant of the imported dashboard is specified as the resource tenant, the data source tenant, and the storage tenant. After importing resources, you need to specify spaces for widgets with events and (if necessary) expand the list of tenants.
• The parameters of the enrich and lookup SQL functions in widget queries are imported unchanged. If necessary, you can modify these in accordance with your requirements after importing resources.
• Links to active lists and tables are not imported. If necessary, you can customize these widgets after importing resources.
