Exporting or importing a report template

To export a report template:

  1. Open the KUMA web interface and go to one of the following sections:
    • Reports → Templates
    • Resources → List If you have selected this section, for the convenience of viewing objects, you can select Report template in the Resource type column of the table.

    This opens a window with a list of all report templates available to you in KUMA.

  2. Use the check box to select the report template to be exported.
  3. Click the Export button above the table of report templates.
  4. In the sidebar that is displayed:
    1. Enter the password for the file with exported resources. The password must satisfy the following requirements:
      • At least 16 characters.
      • At least one lowercase character.
      • At least one uppercase character.
      • At lease one numeral.
      • At least one special character.
    2. In the Tenant drop-down list, select the tenant from which you want to export the selected resources.
    3. Select check boxes to specify the resources that you want to export.

      If you select the All resources check box, all resources in folders of the selected tenant are exported.

  5. Click the Export button.

Consider the following when exporting report templates:

To import a report template:

  1. Open the KUMA web interface and go to one of the following sections:
    • Reports → Templates
    • Resources → List If you have selected this section, for the convenience of viewing objects, you can select Report template in the Resource type column of the table.

    This opens a window with a list of all report templates available to you in KUMA.

  2. Use the check box to select the report template to be imported.
  3. Click the Import button above the table of resources.
  4. In the sidebar, in the Tenant drop-down list, select the tenant to which you want to import the report template.
  5. Select the import source: File or Repository.
  6. Depending on the selected import source, follow these steps:
    1. If you selected File as the import source, follow these steps:
      • Specify the password for the imported file.
      • Click the Select file button to select the file that you want to import.
      • Select the check boxes of the resources that you want to import.
    2. If you selected Repository as the import source, select one or more repository packages in the displayed table.
  7. Click the Import button.
  8. If necessary, resolve conflicts between the resources imported from the file and the existing resources.
