Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about the Social Privacy feature.
How do I disable context advertising in Google services?
- On the main Social Privacy screen, go to the Services section and tap Google. Sign in to your Google account when prompted.
- In the History section of the screen, tap Manage history.
- On the next screen, make sure that all boxes are selected, then tap Delete.
- Return to the main Google screen of the Social Privacy feature.
- In the Data collection section, tap Manage data tracking.
- On the next screen, make sure that all boxes are selected, then tap Stop tracking.

- On the next screen, turn all switches to OFF.
How do I hide my telephone number on Facebook?

- Tap Search and friend requests.
- On the next screen, tap Who can find you by your phone number?.
- On the next screen, select Only you.
How do I hide my location from Google?
- On the main Social Privacy screen, go to the Services section and tap Google. Sign in to your Google account when prompted.

- In the Google Maps section, select the Location history checkbox. Make sure all other checkboxes are deselected if you don't want to delete other categories of history.

- In the Personal data section of the screen, tap Photos of you.
- On the next screen, select Add manually.
How do I stop people from mentioning me on Instagram?
- On the main Social Privacy screen, go to the Services section and tap Instagram. Sign in to your Instagram account when prompted.
