Managing network service templates

You can view the list of network service templates on the administrator portal in the Catalog section, in the Catalog pane. To view information about available network service components, click the deployment icon. The following subsections are displayed:

• The Templates tab contains network service templates. Information about network service templates is displayed in the following columns of the table:
  • Name is the name of the network service template.
  • Author is the name of the user that created the network service template.
  • Created on is the date and time when the network service template was created.
  • Description is a brief description of the network service template.
• Shared network services is a list of shared network services.
• Virtual network functions is a table of virtual network functions. Information about virtual network functions is displayed in the following columns of the table:
  • Name is the name of the virtual network function.
  • Provider is the provider of the virtual network function. You can specify the provider of the virtual network function using the provider parameter in the VNF descriptor.
  • Version is the version of the virtual network function. You can specify the version of the virtual network function using the version parameter in the VNF descriptor.
  • Description is the brief description of the virtual network function. You can specify a description of the virtual network function using the description parameter in the VNF descriptor.
• Physical network functions is the table of physical network functions. Information about physical network functions is displayed in the following columns of the table:
  • Name is the name of the physical network function.
  • Provider is the provider of the physical network function. You can specify the provider of the physical network function using the provider parameter in the PNF descriptor.
  • Version is the version of the physical network function. You can specify the version of the physical network function using the version parameter in the PNF descriptor.
  • Description is the brief description of the physical network function. You can specify a description of the physical network function using the description parameter in the PNF descriptor.
